CORDLESS SCREWDRIVER

Snap-on Tools calls its Power Pistol Grip Cordless Screwdriver (CTS561), a “compact, speedy and comfortable power tool ideal for auto technicians performing restricted access applications.”

Combining what’s claimed to be the fastest free speed on the market with the lightest weight and shortest length, the screwdriver has a variety of features, including 375 rpm of free speed that allows for quicker fastener removal. It also features a ¼-in. quick-change chuck to make changing bits easier and faster, and comes with two removable 7.2-volt batteries that each hold a 55-minute charge, allowing techs to work longer without interruption.

The screwdriver provides 60 in. lb of torque to handle a wide variety of applications and has a glass-filled nylon housing that’s said to increase durability and prolong the tool’s life. The integrated soft grip handle provides positive tool control while the over-sized forward/reverse
cushion toggle switch allows for one-hand operation and reduces finger stress and strain. The tool contains no teeth, therefore eliminating the risk of tooth breakage.

With its compact size, the Pistol Grip serves well in tight places such as engine compartment work, under-dash work, and stereo installation.
