Cummins ISX now available in Freightliner Cascadia

PORTLAND, Ore — Freightliner has announced the Cummins ISX engine is now available in the Freightliner Cascadia 125-inch BBC product line.

 

The Cascadia is Freightliner’s flagship tractor as well as its most aerodynamic, according to the company. The ISX will be available with power ratings from 400-500 hp and 1,450-1,850 lb.-ft. of torque.

 

“The impressive Cummins ISX enhances the Cascadia’s performance, making it a natural fit into our overall engine line-up,” said Melissa Clausen, director of product marketing for Freightliner Trucks. “By offering our customers a full range of engine options, we are providing unmatched value and service.”

 

The Freightliner Cascadia is also available with the Detroit Diesel DD13, DD15 and Series 60 as well as the MBE 4000.
