Cyngn expands autonomous capabilities to outdoor environments
Cyngn, California-based autonomous vehicle technology provider, announced that its AI-powered autonomous DriveMod, can now operate in outdoor environments, enabling facility managers to automate material movement across both indoor and outdoor spaces.
This expansion allows the DriveMod Tugger to perform transfers between buildings and outdoor storage areas, improving efficiency in large sites such as warehouses and manufacturing complexes.

“One of the biggest pain points businesses face is the wasted time and resources involved in transporting materials between buildings,” said Sean Stetson, Cyngn’s vice-president of engineering. “By automating these tasks, companies can eliminate inefficiencies, shifting workers to other responsibilities.”
Several companies have already engaged Cyngn to automate outdoor operations, unlocking cost savings and productivity improvements.
