LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Named for its single side laminate construction, Great Dane has rolled out the new SSL van trailer.

The unit features a higher cubic capacity — comparable to plate and composite wall trailers — but also boasts unmatched durability. Another sheet-and-post design from the Georgia-based trailermaker, the SSL features a layer of galvalume steel with a yield strength of 80,000psi.

A highly corrosion and puncture resistant design with a rigid core bonded to the steel ensures the interior will not crumple from repeated forklift impact.

Recessed fasteners also mean the SSL won’t snag your freight. Standard with a natural finish, an optional while interior package does exist, too.
