CALGARY, Alta. — Danatec Educational Services has launched a new educational product line for WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System).

The centerpiece of the new WHMIS line is a DVD, WHMIS: Tell Me Your Story, which explores lessons in workplace safety through the stories of six people who have experienced first-hand the consequences of not following WHMIS guidelines.

Established in 1985, Danatec opened its doors in Calgary with a mission to provide reference and training materials for Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG). Twenty-two years later, they have grown and evolved to become an all-around provider of workplace safety training solutions.

The new Danatec product line is designed to meet the most up-to-date WHMIS standards and practices.

These completely new WHMIS educational tools will set the standard in the safety training industry, said Ronald Martin, president of Danatec.

The new line of WHMIS products from Danatec includes: WHMIS: Tell Me Your Story, self-teach program, online course, handbook and instructors package.
