DAY & ROSS OPEN WHITBY, ONT. TERMINAL

WHITBY, Ont. — Day & Ross Transport Groups’ Day & Ross general freight unit has opened a new terminal at 1850 Boundary Rd. in Whitby, Ont.

The terminal features 18,000 sq. ft. of office and dock space. The dock, which has 16 bays, is run by six workers and operates 24-hours a day.

It is also the base for a team of 11 owner/operators.

“We needed to open this terminal to better service our customers, especially in the Durham, East Toronto and Markham area,” says terminal manager Michel Cote.

Day & Ross also run a terminal in Brampton, which is on Toronto’s west end.

Day & Ross Transport Groups’ has a fleet of 3,300 vehicles and trailers and operates more than 80 terminals and facilities in Canada and the U.S.
