Thomson Delmar Learning has launched a new Medium/Heavy Duty Truck Diesel Engines Computer Based Training (CBT) course. It utilizes an interactive, self-paced learning approach to cover the theory, operation, and knowledge assessment components required for new and existing truck technicians seeking to increase their knowledge about diesel engines.

The latest technologies are interwoven into 12 content areas, each designed to provide the theory, diagnosis, service, and repair of medium/heavy duty diesel engines. An interactive, self-paced learning approach allows users to tailor their progression throughout the course to individual needs, the publisher says.

The course includes end-of-section and an end-of-course assessment; and if the user demonstrates an acceptable level of understanding of the content, a certificate of completion will be automatically printed.
