Montreal-based transportation management system (TMS) provider Dispatch Science has launched DataSync as part of its Dispatch Science Extensibility (DSX) framework.

The company says DataSync gives carriers full control over their operational data, enabling secure, automated synchronization from the Dispatch Science cloud to customer-managed environments.

This can be on-premises or in private clouds, allowing customers to better leverage real-time analytics, consolidate system integrations and make smarter, faster decisions, the company said.

“Data is the fuel of modern logistics,” said Arthur Axelrad, CEO of Dispatch Science. “With DataSync, we’re giving last-mile carriers the keys to their own engines. They can now access, analyze, and act on their data in real time and on their terms. We’re ensuring control, visibility, and performance. It’s another step toward our vision of an open, extensible ecosystem that grows with our customers’ needs.”

Administrators control which parts of their cloud-hosed operational data are securely sync’d to their own environments.

DataSync uses HTTPS, ensuring reliable and protected data transfer with authentication handled via Azure Entra ID, enhancing identity management and access control, the company said.
