DISPATCH SOFTWARE IMPROVED

ITS Canada’s web-based dispatch program is available in version 2.0, which is said to contain several small improvements and one big addition – it’s now offered in a full Freight Broker version. ITS Dispatch was originally designed for carriers only.

The Broker version contains new features, including detailed statistics that allow users to see at a glance exactly what their companies are generating for gross margin, gross revenue, and costs, says ITS. The information is said to be presented in an easy-to-understand display with supporting printable spreadsheets. These same detailed stats have been integrated into the existing carrier version.

The brokerage version includes a function that alerts dispatchers to expired carrier insurance prior to booking a carrier on a load. A link has been added which will allow users to quickly look up the operating authorities of any carriers in the FMCSA database. Original features include one-click invoicing, Quick Books integration, and multiple user levels.
