Doleco USA introduces DoRa Gen 2 ratcheting load binder
Lifting sling and load-securing technology manufacturer Doleco USA unveiled the DoRa Gen 2 ratcheting load binder.
It delivers 33% faster tensioning and de-tensioning, as well as enhanced, patent-pending safety mechanisms, according to the company. The Gen 2 model maintains the original DoRa’s patented telescopic design.
The DoRa Gen 2 incorporates safety features, including visual marking indicators and an unscrewing protection mechanism. As operators extend the internal spindle, visual markers alert them when approaching maximum extension. Meanwhile, the mechanical lock prevents complete spindle separation — eliminating the time-consuming and potentially hazardous situation of bent spindles, or having to reassemble separated components in the field.

At 20% shorter than standard load binders when retracted, it fits into tight spaces where conventional binders cannot operate — particularly critical when securing heavy construction equipment where anchor points may be very close to cargo, the company states. Despite its compact size, it extends to twice the length of standard load binders, virtually eliminating the need to disconnect and reattach chains during periodic re-tensioning.
