Doran Manufacturing has launched its Doran 360HD tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), designed to help fleets improve fuel efficiency and enhance safety.

Doran, citing industry suppliers, said in a news release that properly inflated tires can boost fuel efficiency by up to 3%, resulting in substantial cost savings for fleets.

The new system features external valve stem-mounted sensors that provide real-time tire pressure and temperature data to an in-cab display. Through visual and audible notifications, drivers are alerted to low tire pressures, rapid deflation events, and high tire temperatures.

The system also includes Doran’s patented Green Means Good indicator, allowing drivers to quickly assess tire status at a glance.

The company adds that, built for rugged environments, the Doran 360HD system is equipped to handle the heat, vibration, and durability demands of on- and off-road applications.

Optional accessories like remote antenna kits, exterior signal boosters, flow-through adapters, and valve stem extensions are available for off-road vehicles, making the system suitable for a wide range of equipment, from long and short haul trucks, loaders, concrete mixers, to waste and recycling trucks.
