MONROVIA, Cal. — Double Coin tires has announced the addition of Idealease to its National Account Fleet Program.

The National Account Fleet Program enables medium and large-size trucking fleets to purchase Double Coin tires at competitive pricing, according to the company. This program, combined with the first Double Coin domestic distribution center that opened in early 2008 in Memphis, Tenn., is designed to provide support services to the national accounts and the distributor/dealer network, with timely shipments and lower-volume items.

“We are very pleased to be able to offer Double Coin truck tires to our stockholders” said Dan Murphy, executive vice-president and COO of Idealease. “We believe that adding Double Coin as a new tire supplier will be a valuable benefit to our stockholders and customers, giving them an additional alternative in this very difficult economic environment.”

The deal also extends the relationship between Double Coin and Navistar, the company adds.

“We are very excited about the addition of Idealease to the Double Coin national account program,” said Walt Weller, vice-president of Double Coin. “Double Coin tires have been offered on Navistar vehicles since January 2007. Bringing Double Coin products to Idealease stockholders, is a natural next step in our relationship and is further testimony to the value and quality that Double Coin tires offer to the fleet market, especially in these trying economic times.”
