DETROIT, Mich. — New training videos are available for Daimler’s new Detroit Assurance suite of active safety systems and its integrated Detroit powertrain.

Detroit Assurance is an integrated suite of safety systems that offers features such as active brake assist, adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning.

The integrated Detroit powertrain consists of the Detroit DD15 engine, Detroit DT12 transmission and Detroit axles.

The videos offer drivers tips on how the systems work and how to maximize their performance.

“From our products to our multimedia tutorials, we want to provide our customers and drivers with all of the resources that will help them achieve the best possible safety and the lowest real cost of ownership,” said Brad Williamson, manager, powertrain marketing for Daimler Trucks North America.

The videos can be found here.
