DriverCheck’s new CovidDetect service includes web-based software to implement and manage do-it-yourself tests using rapid antigen kits approved by Health Canada.

The company itself has conducted more than 400,000 Covid-19 tests since March, and is averaging more than 15,000 tests per week.

The service – currently available in Ontario, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and New Brunswick — includes program management capabilities, monitors compliance, and manages the inventory and distribution of test kits.

Program administrators enroll participants who are notified by email to register for ad-hoc or regular testing. DriverCheck then dispatches the antigen test kits. Participants enter the results in the CovidDetect platform.

The entire process takes about 20-30 minutes, DriverCheck adds.
