Drivewyze Safety+ offers real-time severe weather warnings

by Today's Trucking

Drivewyze is now offering real-time weather warnings as part of its Drivewyze Safety+ driver notification platform.

Drawing on weather data from partners, the system identifies extreme or severe weather in the U.S., giving drivers time to slow down, alter routes, or pull over.

Alerts begin up to 50 miles (80 km) from a severe weather occurrence — delivered only when and where drivers need the information and discontinued when the threat passes. Safety+ is an always-on service and does not require third party navigation services to be running.
