InCharge Energy has come out with a dual Level 2 charger that can simultaneously charge two vehicles at 19.2 kW on both cables.

InCharge says its Dual ICE-80A charger is the only available option in North America that offers that capability, making it ideal for fleets with medium to long dwell times.

Load management features respond to grid and site demand needs, taking the vehicle’s operations readiness into account. The charger is also built for rugged environments, with a steel enclosure and waterproof exterior, while internal components are designed for long, high-current charging sessions, the company says.

The dual-cable design allows fleets to save space on chargers, as the Dual ICE-80A occupies a smaller footprint than two chargers. It is available now and can be ordered through a Charging-as-a-Service (CaaS) financing option offering predictable lower payments.
