KALAMAZOO, MI — Eaton Corp. announced today that John Sczesny has been named Business Unit Manager for its North American Light and Medium Duty Transmission Business.

In his new role, Sczesny will oversee all business unit activities for the North American region, including Eaton’s Greenfield, Ind., plant operations.

Sczesny has been with Eaton for more than 26 years and most recently was Director of Field Sales and Marketing.

Eaton’s Truck Group is a global leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of powertrain systems and components for commercial vehicles, including manual and automated transmissions, hybrid power systems, clutches and collision warning systems with adaptive cruise control.

Eaton has 81,000 employees and sells products to customers in more than 150 countries.
