Eaton unveils four mobile power products
Eaton will showcase four new mobile power innovations at the upcoming Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week in Texas.
The company is introducing its PT 500 Series power take-offs, designed for Dodge transmissions and compatible with ZF PowerLine 8AP and Torqueflite HD applications. Built for vocational use, the PT 500 Series features a low-profile, hot-shift two-gear design with hydraulic shifting in stationary mode, according to a news release.
The PTO delivers continuous torque up to 380 Nm (280 lb.-ft.) and intermittent torque up to 530 Nm (391 lb.-ft.), with power output reaching 40 kW (54 hp) at 1,000 rpm. The unit weighs 24 kg (53 lb.).
Eaton will also debut a hot-shift PTO for its Endurant transmission, enabling clutch-free engagement under load for stop-and-go and continuous-duty applications such as refuse, utility and construction.
Also being introduced are Allison wet kits, engineered as turnkey hydraulic solutions for vehicles equipped with Allison automatic transmissions. The kits are designed to simplify installation across applications including dump, snow and ice, utility and construction.
Rounding out the lineup are a pressure-compensated piston pump and rear pneumatic heavy-duty PTO solutions designed for high-load applications, offering multiple internal ratios and reinforced mounting options.
