Eco Flaps gains SmartWay verification

by Truck News

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Eco Flaps has announced it has been verified by the EPA SmartWay program to provide fuel savings of 1%.

It becomes the first splash guard to become SmartWay-verified. Actual fuel savings on a 53-ft. trailer verified by Southwest Research Institute came in at 1.25% compared to a trailer with standard mud flaps.

“We are excited by the EPA’s findings that Eco Flaps reduce fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions,” said Russell Stubbs, CEO of Eco Flaps. “The results confirmed what we and our customers already know: Eco Flaps lower costs on fuel and maintenance while benefitting the environment.”
