Element, Samsara now offer integrated fleet management services
Element Fleet Management and Samsara have launched a new joint fleet and operations management offering aimed at helping fleets across Canada and the U.S. improve safety, compliance, and cost control.
The collaboration, announced June 10, combines Element’s lifecycle fleet management services with Samsara’s connected operations platform, giving customers a more streamlined experience from procurement and onboarding to real-time analytics and compliance support, according to a news release.

“Fleet leaders today are facing rising operational costs, evolving regulatory standards, and the need for improved safety and sustainability,” said Robert Stobaugh, chief operating officer at Samsara, in the release. “With this partnership, enterprise and government fleets can unlock data-driven insights to help them more efficiently, safely and cost-effectively manage their fleets.”
The joint offering provides a range of benefits for fleet managers, including improved safety through AI-powered incident detection, real-time driver coaching, and integrated compliance tracking. Uptime is increased with predictive maintenance tools and more efficient service planning, while unified reporting delivers greater transparency across vehicles, equipment, and workflows, the release reads.
Sustainability tools offer insights into electrification readiness, emissions tracking, and overall fleet optimization. Customers also benefit from a streamlined experience through integrated procurement, onboarding, and advisory services. The platform also delivers real-time operational and cost-saving strategies that help fleets respond to shifting business conditions and broader economic challenges.
“At the core of this unique partnership is a shared commitment to redefine how fleets operate — seamlessly integrating intelligence, automation, and expertise to create real enterprise value for our clients,” said David Madrigal, executive vice-president and chief commercial officer at Element. “Through our integrated expertise, we remain focused on maximizing the performance of clients’ fleets so they can focus on growing their business.”
