Entigo names John Catlos VP Product Development

MALVERN, Penn. – Entigo, a provider of warranty chain management solutions, has appointed John Catlos to the position of VP, Product Development.

Catlos, a 10-year software veteran, has been a member of the Entigo development team since 2001 and most recently served as the director of development.

“John’s proven leadership skills and technical expertise in delivering enterprise call warranty systems made him a natural choice to lead Entigo’s development efforts,” said Steve Layne, Entigo’s CEO. “John will play a strategic role as we continue to incorporate new features and functionality into Entigo Warranty maintaining its status as the best enterprise warranty solution on the market.”

As vice president development, Catlos will report directly to Layne and lead the development team in enhancing Entigo’s industry leading warranty solution, Entigo Warranty. Over the span of his career, Catlos’ responsibilities ranged from managing multiple software development teams in large scale J2EE projects and other technologies, to technical development and coding, as well as helping with architecture and design, and taking lead roles in large scale process improvement efforts. His focus has always been on improving software development in organizations, both in technology and processes.

Prior to joining Entigo, Catlos developed systems for South Hills Health Systems, a Pittsburgh-based hospital and health care system, and later moved to a pure software development environment with Metalsite. Catlos earned two bachelors’ of science degrees in Health Management Systems and Business Administration and a master of science degree in Health Management Systems, all from Duquesne University. Catlos also currently serves as an adjunct faculty member at Duquesne University teaching Project Management courses at the graduate level.
