Eroad’s CoreTemp monitors cargo temps in real time
Eroad says its CoreTemp reefer monitoring product ensures accurate cargo temperature measurements throughout a journey, giving shippers and carriers real-time insights into the state of perishable goods being shipped.
It also removes the need for manual temperature probing, which is subject to operator error. CoreTemp measures core product temperatures through a network of sensors and uses artificial intelligence and algorithms to provide early multi-layered temperature warnings and alerts. It can also notify users of breakdowns and produce performance scores for carriers.
It also saves fuel, the company says, thanks to remote pre-cooling capabilities.
