ExpoCam 2007 looks into future of trucking, technology

MONTREAL, Que. Attendees at ExpoCam 2007 will be looking ahead with Trucking into the Future as the events theme. The event is placing a heavy emphasis on the impact of new products and technology on Canada’s trucking industry.

A prominent topic will be the new ’07 engines with advanced diesel particulate emission control systems. Also on display are the Volvo I-shift automated transmissions, the modular Eaton collision warning system and the Omnivision mobile computing platform from Shaw Tracking. General Motors will launch its new GMC “W” series. Hino will unveil a 2008, 258 LP model equipped with air suspension and air brakes, and a new 152″ wheelbase available on its 268, 308 and 338 models. Chevron Global Lubricants will have a brand new Delo Truck mobile hands-on lubricants laboratory operating on the show floor.

The guest-speaker line-up will include Canada’s first astronaut, Marc Garneau and world-famous cosmologist Hubert Reeves.

ExpoCam will be held at Place Bonaventure in Montreal, April 12-14. Admittance to ExpoCam 2007 is open to industry members for $20 payable at the show. For more information visit www.expocam.ca.
