KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Roadranger has announced it is now offering extended warranties on Spicer heavy-duty and medium-duty steer axles.

The expanded coverage is available on both standard-duty and severe-duty applications in gross axle weight ratings from 6,000-24,000 lbs, according to the company. The extended warranty will cover complete parts and labour costs.

Plans are available for one or two years of additional coverage and are transferrable to subsequent owners, the company says. They can be purchased online at www.roadranger.com or rolled into the cost of the initial vehicle purchase.

“Another important feature of the Roadranger extended warranties is the fact that service is available at any OEM dealer facility in North America, which includes more than 3,500 locations,” said Mangesh Ingle, manager, extended protection plans for the Roadranger organization. “We’ve made every effort to make the purchase of our extended protection plans as convenient and affordable as possible. So for a small price you can easily enhance the resale value of your truck investment, as well as protect yourself from expensive repairs, particularly in these times when you might be thinking of holding on to your trucks longer.”

Roadranger also offers extended protection plans for Fuller medium- and heavy-duty transmissions and duty clutches and Spicer medium- and heavy-duty drive axles, the company notes.
