TORONTO, Ont. – Fleet Complete announced today that it has launched its latest HoS mobile app available through its distribution partners in the US and Canada.

The new HoS app allows drivers to easily record their duty status, available drive time by monitoring engine hours, vehicle movement, distance driven and location information as well as choose current HoS rules and perform vehicle inspections. It also has Bluetooth connectivity and the ability to display timely violation warnings, send e-mails to designated managers, share data and store logs for six months among other enhanced features.

The app was launched in response to the U.S. Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) enforcing Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) by December 18, 2017. The HoS app will be updated as required to reflect changes to any US or Canadian regulations, Fleet Complete says.

“Fleet Complete continues to be at the forefront of the telematics industry in developing innovative and value-driven solutions for fleets, owners and operators,” said Tony Lourakis, CEO, Fleet Complete. “We are thrilled to help simplify our customers’ ELD compliance well in advance of the rule date, while also offering the added value of combining the latest HoS app with Fleet Complete’s wide-range of fleet solutions under one platform.”
