Fleetio, a fleet maintenance management software company, has expanded its embedded integration with Ford’s modem-equipped vehicles and Ford Pro plug-in device technology. This first embedded integration by Fleetio now enables all Ford Pro Telematics subscribers to access a broader exchange of vehicle data within the Fleetio platform.

Building on the initial integration, which synced odometer readings and fault codes, the enhanced version now provides diagnostic trouble code alerts for proactive maintenance, vehicle location data for optimized routing, and fuel vendor location alerts to improve fuel monitoring.

The expanded capabilities aim to streamline daily maintenance operations by offering faster access to data, which is essential for vehicle uptime, driver safety, and cost efficiency, Fleetio says.

For Ford Pro Telematics subscribers, the integration allows a direct connection to the Fleetio platform while maintaining access to the Ford Pro Intelligence dashboard. This setup provides fleet managers with tracking and maintenance insights through a centralized data flow, the company said in a news release.

With direct pairing between Ford Pro Telematics and Fleetio, users can monitor vehicle utilization trends, establish vehicle replacement programs, and ensure preventive maintenance compliance across their fleets.
