Fontaine Heavy-Haul adds new 60-ton trailer
Fontaine Heavy-Haul has introduced a new Magnitude 60HD modular lowbed trailer for 60-ton loads.
It’s designed for customers who require more than the standard 55-ton models, but without the significantly higher prices of a 56- or 70-ton model, the company says.
The Fontaine EQ2 spreader allows it to haul 60 tons in 16 feet, with two additional axles. It’s equipped with a modular tridem bogie, allowing it to connect with four different deck options including: flat level; drop side rail; beam deck; and extendable deck, coming in early 2022.
