Fuel Ox OTR promises fuel economy boost, fewer regens
Fuel Ox OTR is a single-dose fuel additive promising greater fuel economy and lower emissions.
The fuel additive is formulated to stabilize fuel, lubricate and clean engines, combat corrosion, and remove water. But its makers describe the “secret sauce” as a combustion catalyst that lowers the ignition point of fuel.
The three-ounce bottle will treat up to 120 US gallons (about 450 liters) of diesel or gasoline.
There’s an all-season formula and two cold-weather versions marketed as Cold Charge and Freeze Guard, which include anti-gelling properties and reduce the cold filter plugging point by 0.5 to 5.5 Celsius. Cold Charge is further enhanced with the combustion catalyst.
