MIAMI, Fla. — Gator Leasing Inc. recently announced it has opened a 21,690-square-foot, 36-bay truck service facility in Miami’s Airport West area.

Located at 10900 N.W. 25th St., the facility, which includes a 90-foot wash bay and high-speed fuel station, enables Gator Leasing to provide a broad spectrum of maintenance offerings to its customers and to service 36 trucks simultaneously. It is the first phase of a $6 million project that includes the construction of an 18,700-square-foot, two-story office building that will house Gator Leasing’s corporate offices. The company expects to begin construction of the office building in early 2004.

"Our development of this service facility demonstrates our unwavering commitment to providing our customers with the highest-quality personal service and attention," said Jim Hammel, president of Gator Leasing. "The new facility provides us with a significant competitive advantage by enhancing our ability to efficiently address our customers’ maintenance needs."

Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Riesco Architects designed Gator Leasing’s service facility and office building. Lemartec, a Miami-based engineering and construction firm, was the project’s general contractor, while Sharpe Project Developments Inc. of Fort Lauderdale was the project’s coordinator.
