DALLAS, Tex. — Alcoa Wheel Products developed a one-piece hub cover system, which was on display at the Great American Trucking Show (GATS) in Dallas from Aug. 23 to 25.

The new one-piece hub cover system has been lab and road tested, offering the same quality as other Alcoa Wheel products.

Alcoa Wheel Products is proud to offer our customers a simpler option when dressing their wheels, said Merrick Murphy, general manager of Alcoa Accessories Services and Logistics. This new accessory is another example of how the company is broadening its area of technical expertise in order to benefit our customers.

The new accessory boasts a number of benefits from the manufacturer, including reduced installation time, one part instead of 11; highly reflective superior finish; patented on/off attachment system; and an on/off removal hub for lube and DOT inspection.

Alcoa also introduced a new finish option to its line of Dura-Bright wheels with XBR technology.

Alcoas Dura-Bright wheels with XBR technology, introduced in September 2006, are an updated version of Alcoas original Dura-Bright wheels as they provide customers with wheels that are 53% more reflective and 74% more image clarity.

The XBR technology continues to resist corrosion and eliminate the need for polishing wheels to maintain their shine.
