Glasvan Great Dane makes organizational changes

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Glasvan Great Dane, Glasvan Trailers Inc. and Glasvan Equipment Lease Company has made two new personnel changes. George Cobham will take on chairman and CEO duties and Paul D. Cobham had been appointed as president and C.O.O.

Paul is a graduate of University of Western Ontario, since graduation has held several positions within the companies laterally as V.P. of Operations handling the aftermarket operations of Glasvan. George Cobham will assume the position of chairman and C.E.O. of the Glasvan group of companies.

Glasvan is a dealer distributor for Ontario for Great Dane Trailers of Savannah Georgia, North America’s largest and most complete full line transport trailer manufacturer. Glasvan represents Landoll of Maryville Kansas a specialty trailer manufacturer of material handling trailers, utility trailers and low boys. Glasvan also represents Capacity of Texas a premium manufacturer of Shunt tractors. Glasvan recently opened a dedicated truck maintenance and repair shop to support the sale and lease of Capacity Shunt products. Glasvan was incorporated in 1980 and currently services its customers from five locations in Ontario and employs 130 people..
