Great Dane adds Freedom Ultra to flatbed lineup
Great Dane has launched Freedom Ultra, the newest addition to its Freedom flatbed trailer lineup, combining aluminum construction with increased payload capacity, strength, and durability.
According to the company, the trailer offers one of the highest concentrated load-to-tare weight ratios in its class and features a welded main beam design that delivers 50% greater rigidity than comparable products.
“As we worked on Ultra’s design, we listened to our customers’ challenges and needs,” said Sam King, design engineer manager at Great Dane. “We’re proud of the features Ultra offers for superior safety and strength, all in one incredible-looking package.”
Freedom Ultra also comes standard with a RIG30-compliant rear impact guard and an integrated J-hook floor system featuring fully boxed floorboards and optional built-in J-hook tracks for added cargo securement flexibility. The trailer includes integrated FleetPulse telematics for fleet visibility and asset recovery and is backed by a 10-year warranty on the main beams.
