JONESBORO, Ark. — Great Dane Limited Partnership announced that it will initiate a full second shift of manufacturing operations at its Jonesboro, Ark. manufacturing plant, creating 175 new jobs, and bringing total plant staff to 400 employees.

“Due to increased trailer demand, we expect to nearly double our production of dry cargo vans manufactured at the plant to 136 units per week. To meet these increased production needs, we have already expanded our normal payroll to approximately 330 employees and plan to add 70 more jobs over the coming weeks," said Tom Czapka, Vice President, Business Development for Great Dane Limited Partnership, at a meeting of the Jonesboro Chamber of Commerce.

Czapka cited the support of the local community and the economic development programs of the State of Arkansas as key factors in Great Dane’s decision to expand manufacturing operations in Jonesboro.
