BRAZIL, Ind. — Great Dane Trailers announced that 100 new production jobs will be added at its Brazil, Ind. manufacturing site in the coming weeks.

In response to increased demand, Great Dane expects to boost trailer output in Brazil to 250 per week, dictating the payroll expansion.

“Trailer orders are strong, especially in the dry van product line. In manufacturing, and particularly in the trailer business, employees are our greatest asset so we are confident in adding to our workforce at this time,” Bernie Buttram, plant manager at the Brazil manufacturing facility said.

To meet the additional production needs, Great Dane’s Brazil plant will add to its 1,185 current employees through the results of a job fair held Aug. 14. Openings are available for entry-level plant positions and welders.
