HEIGHT-CONTROL VALVE

Hadley has created a air-suspension height-control valve that combines the durability of its 500 series valve with the reliability of the 600 series valve, the company says. It’s a modular design – a concept still new to the industry
but gaining acceptance as the advantages of its dump/non-dump versatility are recognized.

Benefits include: light weight, as it’s made of glass-reinforced polymer, cheaper than cast metal and resistant to extreme stress and temperatures; its modular design means it can be built as either a dump valve or in a
non-dump configuration; quick fittings for easy assembly; its variable flow-management design reduces air flow loss for more control and increased flow capacity during dump/fill.

Height-control valves control the ride height of vehicles that use air bags/air suspensions instead of springs, allowing adjustments for variations between loaded and unloaded conditions.
