HINO EXTENDED CAB

All Hino 2008 models, classes 4 through 8, can now be ordered with an optional extended cab. So far only a prototype has been built but orders are being taken, and the truck will likely be ready for delivery in late spring, Hino says. A firm release date has not been set.

The cab is extended by 30 in., and it comes with rear side windows with operating vents. The base truck comes with no rear seat but a full-width bench seat in black vinyl is optional. A 26-in. day bunk with a foam mattress and storage underneath is also an option. Cab height has not changed.

Other new standard features for 2008 include a heated Davco fuel filter, LED marker lights, and an in-dash information display that gives updates on diesel particulate filter status, maintenance intervals, and more. New options include a 120,000-psi frame and a locking differential.
