MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Hino is reporting its market share in Canada is reaching new heights while the company gets comfortable in its new Canadian headquarters.

Hino says its market share in Canada is nearly 12 per cent.

"Hino’s new concept truck launched in Canada last October is becoming increasingly popular. We are receiving excellent reviews from dealers and operators. Hino is on the right track to obtaining a greater market share of the Canadian market. We are looking to double our sales by 2008," says Alan Masters, vice-president of Hino Motors Sales Canada.

Meanwhile, Hino is settling into its new Canadian headquarters in Mississauga. The company opened its new office at 395 Ambassador Drive in Mississauga in late July. The office will be home to the company’s sales, marketing and distribution efforts. It will also house the parts distribution centre.
