NEW LISKEARD, Ont. — Three people are dead, including a Winnipeg man and two from the Toronto Area, and four others are injured after a fiery crash involving three tractor-trailers near here.

The three people killed outside the northern Ontario community on Hwy. 11, were the driver and his two passengers in a truck owned by Calgary’s Imperial Transport: Driver Bharat Saini, 45, of Mississauga, Ont., Gurmel Singh Deol, 26, of Markham, Ont., and Kuldeep Singh Sidhu, 28, of Winnipeg.

The cab of their rig reportedly burst into flames after the collision. While an investigation is ongoing, early reports from the Ontario Provincial Police indicate road conditions were poor as blowing snow caused whiteout conditions.
