Horton appoints new president and CEO

ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Horton Holding, a provider of fan drives, fans and suspension products, has appointed David Adams as president and CEO of the company and all subsidiary divisions.

Prior to accepting the position at Horton, Adams was a division CEO for Thyssenkrupp Waupaca. He held the positions of division president, chief operating officer, vice president operations and general manager within ZF Friedrichshafen AG in the United States, including a top position within a ZF/Ford joint venture.

In addition, David has held executive-level positions with VME in Brussels, Belgium (currently Volvo Construction Equipment), CDI Transportation/Modern Engineering, Rockwell International and Sheller-Globe Corporation. After college, Adams started with Chrysler, where he held various engineering positions.

“David has the expertise to lead Horton through the product development phase and worldwide marketing efforts for our next generation of engine cooling solutions,” said Hugh Schilling, chairman of the board of Horton Holding, Inc.
