HORTON FAN DRIVES FOR ’07 ENGINES

Horton’s new VMaster Ultra fan drives anticipate the demands of the new ’07 engines. Managed by the engine’s ECU for precision fan-speed control, these directly controlled viscous fan drives are designed to cool higher-horsepower,
hotter-running engines. The fan drives are being road tested by OEMs and fleets on new reduced-emission vehicles. Over 4,000,000 miles of testing have been completed within the past 12 months. The fan drive boasts an integral fan-speed sensor to provide closed-loop control capabilities. The fan’s optimized magnetic design speeds up reaction time for better modulation and cooling, according to the company. VMaster Ultra fan drives are available for first-fit and test applications for a variety of fan sizes and mounting options.
