Hyster has new electric lift truck for trucking operations

by Today's Trucking

Hyster Company has introduced an electric lift truck it says improves ergonomics for workers in the high-intensity trucking industry.

The J40XNL features an open space design that prioritizes operator comfort, while offering a lower weight for faster acceleration and reduced energy consumption, the company claims. Hyster says the new model will not only reduce emissions in the supply chain, but also help retain drivers and improve their productivity.

Features include: a low step height; operator-centric ergonomics; improved truck feel with a lower center of gravity; maintenance- and emissions-free power with a sealed lithium-ion battery; and an optional trucker’s mast.
