Eden Prairie, Minn. – Idle Free Systems announced recently that it has signed two Canadian dealer agreements.

The first is Fort Garry Industries and its group of companies based in Winnipeg, Manitoba with 28 locations across Canada. The second is Parts for Trucks headquartered in Halifax, Nova Scotia with 15 locations throughout Eastern Canada in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, and Prince Edward Island. Both are now authorized Idle Free electric APU dealers.

According to Idle Free Systems, the agreements will provide sales, installations and support for the company’s all-electric APU.

“These Canadian dealers are a valuable addition to our dealer network and a huge milestone for Idle Free,” said Ian Vriese, director of North American sales, Phillps and Temro. “With the addition of these dealers, fleets can now benefit from greater access to all PTI products.”

Drivers and fleet operators across the country will now have access for all Phillips and Temro products, including Idle Free’s flexible, cost-effective alternative to idling, while reducing emissions.
