International adds Bendix systems
Bendix Wingman Fusion with Enhanced Feature Set is now standard equipment on International LT and RH trucks, and an option on the MV, HV, and HX series of vehicles.
International also becomes the first North American OEM to offer Bendix’s Fusion active cruise with braking Stop and Driver Go, and new active steering with lane-keep assist capabilities, which are both options for the LT and RH Series trucks, Bendix adds.
Bendix first launched Wingman Fusion in 2015, integrating radar, camera, and braking systems. Advancements such as full braking power on the tractor and earlier object detection have followed.
Bendix Wingman Fusion with Enhanced Feature Set delivers enhanced autonomous emergency braking (AEB) and stationary vehicle braking, along with multilane automatic emergency braking, highway departure braking, and active cruise with braking Stop and Driver Go.
