WARRENVILLE, Ill. — International has introduced a new Class 6 truck it says delivers improved durability, reliability and advanced technology.

The International 4200 4×4 was unveiled at the Demo Expo ICUEE 2005 show. The company says the new addition extends its 4×4 offerings into a lighter GVW rating. The truck boasts excellent maneuverability and visibility, the company says, as well as extended and synchronized service intervals for reduced maintenance and operating costs.

It’s also capable of tackling off-road applications thanks to its rugged frame and four-wheel-drive, the company says. It’s expected to be popular in the utility industry.

International officials say the 4200 4×4 comes equipped with the Diamond Logic electrical system a self-diagnosing system that involves integrated intelligence and provides increased reliability and uptime. It’s available in 21,500- and 25,999-lb GVWs and can be spec’d at a low overall height of just 105-inches with 19.5-inch tires.

The new offering will be available in the spring of 2006, the company says.
