TORONTO, Ont. — International Power Systems (IPS), a Toronto-based distributor of gasoline and diesel engines, was recently appointed the Webasto Thermosystems master distributor for Ontario.

“The appointment of IPS as Webasto Thermosystems Distributor for Ontario strengthens the positions of both companies and helps better service new and existing Webasto customers via the IPS Dealer network,” says IPS president, Martin Connolly.

The addition of Webasto air and coolant heating systems will bolster IPS’s impressive inventory of commercial vehicle accessories, which already includes RigMaster Power, North America’s leading truck mounted diesel generator.

This appointment allows IPS to distribute Webasto’s full line of vehicle air and coolant heaters, ranging in output from 3,100 BTU to 104,000 BTU. A leader in the automotive, air and coolant heater industry since the mid 1950’s Webasto prides itself on providing comfort to both drivers and passengers.

The Air Top 2000 and 3500 series of heaters provide fast, comfortable and reliable cab heat in a fuel-efficient manner, says IPS. For heavy-duty use the Thermo and DBW lines of coolant heaters provide the high output heat needed in extreme climates. Replacing the need for engine idling Webasto Thermosystems heaters are proven to reduce fuel consumption cutting fuel bills and eliminating harmful carbon monoxide emissions.
