Kenworth now offers lightweight suspension
KIRKLAND, Wash. — Kenworth Truck Company now has the lightweight, Hendrickson Haulmaax heavy-duty truck suspension available for vocational truck and tractor buyers.
“The Haulmaax suspension is available in 40,000- and 46,000-lb capacities on new Kenworth truck orders placed with Kenworth dealers,” says Brian Lindgren, Kenworth vocational segment manager. “We think that this new, heavy-duty suspension will be especially of interest to customers involved in construction, refuse, and logging.”
The weight savings with Haulmaax can result in over 500lb of additional payload in comparison to competitive steel spring suspensions, explains Sean Coleman, marketing manager for Hendrickson Truck Suspension Systems.
“In addition, Haulmaax delivers innovative ride solutions that improve traction, reduce maintenance costs, and can improve profits for customers,” he adds.
