KIRKLAND, Wash. — Members of Consolidated Buying Company (CBC) are eligible for rebates of up to $1,250 towards the purchase of Class 7 and 8 Kenworth trucks, the company announced.

The $1,250 rebate is applied towards purchases of three or more vehicles while a $1,000 rebate is available towards the purchase of one or two Keworth Class 8 trucks and a $500 rebate is available towards the purchase of a Kenworth Class 7 unit.

Consolidated Buying Company is a buying group focusing on North American fuel haulers, grocery suppliers and agricultural haulers.

“Many customers involved in petroleum, agricultural and private grocery supplier hauling have purchased Kenworth trucks in the past under this Kenworth rebate program with the Consolidating Buying Company,” said Gary Moore, Kenworth assistant general manager for marketing and sales. “We’re pleased to again offer this successful program for 2009.”

CBC members should present their membership to a Kenworth dealer to take advantage of the rebate. If you’re not currently a member, Kenworth said it would pay the $500 membership fee for qualifying customers wishing to take advantage of the rebate program.
