TORONTO, Ont. — Kinedyne Canada has introduced its Stud chain system to help trucks achieve traction in slick conditions.
The introduction follows on the heels of last year’s introduction of the Grip Link V-Bar and Square Link tire chains, which have exceeded their target sales by 180 per cent. The introduction of the stud-system chains allow Kinedyne to service 95 per cent of the industry’s tire chain requirements, the company says.
The Stud is a powerful tire chain that can secure a transport as it passes through oilfields, lumber yards, mud and snow. This style of chain has been used by shunt trucks as they move trailers through mud- and snow-filled yards, the company says.
Kinedyne Canada says the Stud cross chain is available in 22.5- and 24.5-inch sizes for single and dual tires. The Grip Link Stud cross chains is the "most retail friendly and readily available stud style chain on the market," the company claims. The chains are sold in Easy Carry and Easy Store plastic pales and customers can place their order just days before they need the chains eliminating the hassle of bulk ordering in advance.
Kinedyne is beginning to take orders for the new chains now.
"We are always looking for ways to serve our customers better" says Larry Harrison, general manager of Kinedyne Canada "Expanding our tire chain line is a perfect example of how we are listening to their needs and acting on their requests."
