CALEDONIA, Ont. — KRTS Transportation Specialists and CarriersEdge have launched a forklift certification program for lift truck operators.

The program combines online training with a practical examination. The online component is powered by CarriersEdge, and concludes with a written test. Once the participant has achieved 75% in the written test, they move on to the practical test which takes place at a KRTS campus, the companies have announced.

“Once again, we have partnered with CarriersEdge to offer a state-of-the-art online program that is of the highest quality,” said Kim Richardson, president of KRTS.

Added Mark Murrell, president of CarriersEdge: “By combining the best elements of online and practical instruction, (KRTS) is providing a premium education experience for their customers and we’re happy to be a part of that.”
