CALEDONIA, Ont. — KRTS Transportation Specialists has recently been accredited five year status by the Professional Truck Driver Institute (PTDI).

"I am so proud of our entire team at our facility," said Kim Richardson, KRTS president. "There are only 62 schools in Canada and the U.S. who have met the PTDI certification process, and our preferred carriers give preferential treatment to our PTDI graduates."

The PTDI accreditation process includes nine areas that a course is judged on. The program is rated in three categories non-acceptable, acceptable and exceptional.

KRTS has been rated acceptable in every category and exceptional in seven areas: audio-visual/multimedia training; instructor staff development and supervision; condition of training vehicles; industry standards of vehicles; curriculum content; student/instructor ratio and customer follow up.

For more details on KRTS, call 800-771-8171 or on PTDI call 703-838-8842.
